FAQ

Common Questions.

Everything drivers and fleet partners need to know about joining TAGGO — registration, payments, vehicles, and the app. Our support team replies in English and Arabic.

Registration

What documents do I need to register as a driver?
Emirates ID and a valid UAE driving licence are helpful but not required to apply — drivers who are still in the process of obtaining their licence are welcome to register. You can submit these documents later once available. Everything can be uploaded via UAE Pass.
How long does verification take?
Typically 2–3 days for ride and rental. Cargo is 3–5 days. Recovery is 5–7 days because it includes a mandatory training module. You can track progress in real time inside the app.
Can I register for more than one service at a time?
You choose a primary service first. After verification you can add further services from your dashboard without re-verifying your identity. Recovery requires its own academy module separately.
I don't have UAE Pass yet. Can I still register?
Yes — you can register manually by uploading photos of your ID and licence. We strongly recommend setting up UAE Pass regardless: payments, document renewals, and tax documents all flow through it.
Is there a minimum driving age on TAGGO?
There is no minimum age requirement beyond holding a valid UAE driving licence. If you have a valid licence, you are eligible to register on TAGGO.

Drivers

Can I work on other platforms at the same time?
Yes — TAGGO is non-exclusive for ride and cargo drivers. Rental and recovery contracts are typically exclusive during active hours; check the agreement at sign-up.
What happens if my rating drops?
If your 30-day rolling rating falls below 4.5, a driver success specialist will reach out. Below 4.3 you will be temporarily suspended and offered retraining.
Can I work part-time?
Absolutely. There are no minimum hours for ride and cargo. Many drivers work TAGGO alongside a main job, in evenings, or on weekends.

Vehicles

What vehicles qualify for live ride?
Vehicle requirements will be confirmed during the onboarding process. Our team will guide you through eligibility when you register.
I don't own a car. What are my options?
Register as a rental driver. We will match you with a fleet-partner vehicle on a weekly lease that includes insurance, Salik, and a fuel card.
Can I register a leased vehicle?
Yes, with a no-objection letter from the leasing company. The form is available in the registration flow — TAGGO can request it on your behalf.
Are electric vehicles eligible?
Yes, all EVs qualify. TAGGO is partnered with DEWA and Etihad Energy for charging credits on selected models.

App

Does the app work offline?
Limited offline mode lets you continue an active trip through tunnels and remote areas. New job requests require an active connection.
Is the app available in Arabic?
Yes, fully. Arabic, English, Urdu, and Hindi. Switch at any time in Settings; voice navigation changes with the interface language.
What is the SOS button?
A one-tap shield that broadcasts your live location to the TAGGO operations team, shares it with a saved emergency contact, and connects you to the 999 emergency line.

Fleet

What is the minimum fleet size to join the partner programme?
Five vehicles. Below that, each driver can register individually. The partner programme unlocks a unified dashboard, consolidated payouts, API access, and a dedicated account manager.
Can I upgrade from individual to fleet later?
Yes — your drivers' verifications and ratings carry over. Contact [email protected] to start the transition.
How does franchise-zone pricing work?
Franchise fees vary by emirate and population density. Typical structures include a one-time zone fee, an annual platform licence, and a revenue share arrangement.
